It should not be surprising that results like these have been going on for years. Just like research shows cannabinoids are therapeutically effective against epilepsy, there is research suggesting they can eliminate cancers and control other serious diseases. And in practice, for epilepsy and these other conditions, the results are translating to humans. People have been reliably eliminating cancers for years and mitigating diseases like diabetes, Crohn’s, fibromyalgia, heart disease, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, and more. This is as serious as it gets, and more attention must be brought to this issue.
Francesca Fusco, MD, a dermatologist based in New York City, recently told Health that CBD oil is a rich source of fatty acids and other skin-healthy nutrients, and that it may improve hydration and minimize moisture loss. A few studies have also suggested that CBD oil may inhibit the growth of acne, although this hypothesis has only been tested in laboratory cell cultures—not in actual humans.
CBD derived from marijuana is a different story, and the law varies from state to state. But as long as you’re using CBD oil that contains less than 0.3 percent THC, you have nothing to be concerned about anywhere in the United States. On the other hand, if you want to take your CBD on a trip outside the country, definitely look into local laws to avoid getting into awkward situations while you’re away.
The endocannabinoid system is spread throughout your brain and body, but primarily throughout your central nervous system. The interaction between cannabinoids and receptors is what produces effects like the regulation of mood, pain, appetite, inflammation, and memory. Plant-based cannabinoids, found in cannabis plants, also interact with the receptors (whimsically named CB1 and CB2) in the endocannabinoid system, and each affects your body in different ways. CBD and its infamous cousin THC are the 2 most well-known cannabinoids.

And in the medical world, we've really just barely begun to scratch the surface of the many potential uses of CBD as an alternative, plant-based form of medicine. From the FDA approving a revolutionary CBD-based drug used to treat epilepsy, to studies proving that cannabis has helped patients with glaucoma and those suffering from inflammation, one point is becoming increasingly clear: CBD can help people with all sorts of ailments.

Moreover, scientists at the Cajal Institute showed promising results in regards to CBD and Multiple Sclerosis. They used animal models and cell cultures to find that CBD reversed inflammatory responses; within only ten days, mice that were used in the study had superior motor skills and showed progression in their condition. To date, there have been well over 20,000 published scientific articles on cannabinoids and their related effects on all sorts of medical ailments.
Hemp’s potential widespread adoption as food for humans is also very promising. Hemp seed has high levels of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, essential fatty acids and trace elements.  Oil from hempseed, which can comprise nearly a third of the seed’s weight, makes it an ideal source for cooking oil, lighting and biofuels.  Hempseed oil is also valuable as a component of personal care products such as soaps, conditioners and lotions.

One claim is that Hearst believed[dubious – discuss] that his extensive timber holdings were threatened by the invention of the decorticator which he feared would allow hemp to become a cheap substitute for the paper pulp used for newspaper.[125][128] Historical research indicates this fear was unfounded because improvements of the decorticators in the 1930s – machines that separated the fibers from the hemp stem – could not make hemp fiber a cheaper substitute for fibers from other sources. Further, decorticators did not perform satisfactorily in commercial production.[129][125]
One of the many myths about the legalising of hemp cultivation is that those growing it will be able to hide the more potent marijuana amongst it. This isn’t viable as the intoxicating variety needs a great deal of space and is easy to pick. The other argument about high THC marijuana pollinating hemp and creating a higher THC hemp is null and void – this simply doesn’t happen. In fact, cross pollination will result in lower-THC marijuana.
Separation of hurd and bast fiber is known as decortication. Traditionally, hemp stalks would be water-retted first before the fibers were beaten off the inner hurd by hand, a process known as scutching. As mechanical technology evolved, separating the fiber from the core was accomplished by crushing rollers and brush rollers, or by hammer-milling, wherein a mechanical hammer mechanism beats the hemp against a screen until hurd, smaller bast fibers, and dust fall through the screen. After the Marijuana Tax Act was implemented in 1938, the technology for separating the fibers from the core remained "frozen in time". Recently, new high-speed kinematic decortication has come about, capable of separating hemp into three streams; bast fiber, hurd, and green microfiber.

In Japan, hemp was historically used as paper and a fiber crop. There is archaeological evidence cannabis was used for clothing and the seeds were eaten in Japan back to the Jōmon period (10,000 to 300 BC). Many Kimono designs portray hemp, or asa (Japanese: 麻), as a beautiful plant. In 1948, marijuana was restricted as a narcotic drug. The ban on marijuana imposed by the United States authorities was alien to Japanese culture, as the drug had never been widely used in Japan before. Though these laws against marijuana are some of the world's strictest, allowing five years imprisonment for possession of the drug, they exempt hemp growers, whose crop is used to make robes for Buddhist monks and loincloths for Sumo wrestlers. Because marijuana use in Japan has doubled in the past decade, these exemptions have recently been called into question.[151]
I don’t know a whole lot about the plants but a friend of mine who did weed told me hamper is just the stem of the cannabis. He would know, I wouldn’t. Sadly though he died June 10 of 2018 of stage 4 lung cancer. He was a heavy smoker and I just couldn’t be around it despite our best efforts to set up a ventilation system to fan the smoke out. I must be allergic to secondhand smoke though because I keep getting bronchitis every time I’m exposed to it for long enough and it doesn’t really take a real long time even under the best conditions. Second hand weed smoke really didn’t help either, with me smoke a smoke and I just can’t be around it as it becomes a serious issue. I’m still struggling with trying to get the junk out of my respiratory system that keeps building up in the very upper part of it
Only recently, cannabis and chemically-related compounds have come back to being considered of beneficial value. A prominent compound found in cannabis, CBD, or cannabidiol, has been shown to have some benefits. What is CBD oil good for? Find out all about CBD, including the extensive CBD oil benefits list, CBD oil uses and the many different CBD oil forms.
Since our beginning, Medical Marijuana, Inc. has been striving to bring the health benefits of cannabinoids to the lives of as many people as possible through cannabinoid hemp oil supplements. With our knowledge of cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system just scratching the surface of what’s possible, there is plenty of potential to find new uses for the myriad of cannabinoids available to us.

To make matters more confusing, nine states (including California, Washington, and Colorado) let residents buy cannabis-based products with or without THC. Nearly two dozen other “medical marijuana states” allow the sale of cannabis, including capsules, tinctures, and other items containing CBD or THC, at licensed dispensaries to people whose doctors have certified that they have an approved condition (the list varies by state but includes chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, autism, Crohn’s disease, and multiple sclerosis). Sixteen more states legalized CBD for certain diseases. But because all these products are illegal according to the federal government, cannabis advocates are cautious. “By and large, the federal government is looking the other way,” says Paul Armentano, deputy director of the Washington, DC–based National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), but until federal laws are changed, “this administration or a future one could crack down on people who produce, manufacture, or use CBD, and the law would be on its side.”
“This product has worked for me, when I was sure nothing could. I have a large mass of platinum coils behind my right eye, due to an arterial injury about 15 years ago. The foreign body has caused nerve oversensitivity, resulting in embarrassing facial ticks and eye movement restriction. The CBC oil twice a day has dramatically improved face and eye function in just one month. Thank you!“

My name is Martha, My mom has dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, I took care for my mum. We were managing until these awful vigorous shaking seem to have took over her body, she can’t even hold a cup when it is at its worst and sleep is out of the question which leads to utter exhaustion. We were told that the medication she was on for her restless legs which was something totally different was making the shaking worse. But yet the shaking is part of the dementia. I was making research online on any possible solution that could help my mom and I came across how cannabis oil have helped a lot of people around the world to cure Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I was so happy and relief when I saw this and I knew there was hope for my mom to be well again. I contacted Medicinal Marijuana Resources to get the high quality THC cannabis oil for treatment and prescription on how to use the cannabis oil for treatment of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. My mom started using the cannabis oil for treatment as directed by Medicinal Marijuana Resources physician expert team. Now the Alzheimer’s and Dementia are gone and my mom is well, healthy and strong again

Cannabinoids assist in the bone cycle of a human body – the process which allows old bone material to be replaced by new materials. When CBD is consumed, it hinders the activity of an enzyme responsible for destroying bone-building parts of the body. This action of CBD helps in reducing associated bone problems (aka bone diseases that are usually prevalent during old age. In cases where damage has been done to the bone, CBD facilitates the process of bone cell formation, speeding up the healing of broken bones and other bone problems.

Industrial hemp farmers tend to aim to grow the plants up, not out as is the case with medicinal cannabis – and the taller, the better. This is because some of the great value of industrial hemp in fibre based applications is primarily in its stalk rather than leaves. Industrial hemp is grown at quite high density – another major difference to the cultivation of subsp. indica.

Hemp seeds can be eaten raw, ground into hemp meal, sprouted or made into dried sprout powder. Hemp seeds can also be made into a liquid and used for baking or for beverages such as hemp milk and tisanes.[16] Hemp oil is cold-pressed from the seed and is high in unsaturated fatty acids.[17] The leaves of the hemp plant, while not as nutritional as the seeds, are edible and can be consumed raw as leafy vegetables in salads, and pressed to make juice.[18]
Hemp has very low levels of another cannabis compound, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — the main psychoactive compound in marijuana. Evidence suggests that THC — not CBD — causes the symptoms people associate with getting high on marijuana, Blessing says. Unlike marijuana, which the CDC argues is addictive, CBD also doesn’t seem to be, according to the World Health Organization.
The United Kingdom and Germany resumed commercial production in the 1990s. British production is mostly used as bedding for horses; other uses are under development. Companies in Canada, the UK, the United States, and Germany, among many others, process hemp seed into a growing range of food products and cosmetics; many traditional growing countries still continue to produce textile-grade fibre.
A mixture of fiberglass, hemp fiber, kenaf, and flax has been used since 2002 to make composite panels for automobiles.[38] The choice of which bast fiber to use is primarily based on cost and availability. Various car makers are beginning to use hemp in their cars, including Audi, BMW, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda, Iveco, Lotus, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Saturn, Volkswagen[39] and Volvo. For example, the Lotus Eco Elise[40] and the Mercedes C-Class both contain hemp (up to 20 kg in each car in the case of the latter).[41]
Folks. This article has nothing whatsoever to do wiht legalization of marijuana. Why do you keep commenting on legalizing pot, medical or otherwise? This article is about hemp. TOTALLY different. As an agricultural product it is very adaptable, forgiving and has a multitude of uses. Please stay on topic and help to promote the valuable product of HEMP. South Carolina has made it legal to grow and the rest of the country would benefit from following suit. Again, this has absolutely nothing to do with Pot!!!!!
Irrespective of the mixed feelings surrounding evidence that backs up the use of CBD, one thing is sure – it works. The large numbers of individuals (or patients) who use CBD oil as a treatment for ailments have reaped from its underlying benefits, leaving positive remarks about the efficiency of the substance. A lot of research is in progress regarding CBD oil and what makes it effective against a large number of diseases and illnesses. Previous research on CBD has revealed the manner in which compounds present in CBD oil interact with the organs in the body to provide its healing possibilities.
Naturally, scientists wanted to see if CBD oil had any anticancer properties. As a result, they performed several animal studies using it. However, it should be noted that the findings don’t fully apply to humans. In fact, they merely suggest what possible effects CBD might have when it comes to dealing with cancer. With that in mind, additional human studies would help conclude if CBD oil has an effect on cancer cells in humans.
Agreed with this blog. CBD is best to treat anxiety, depression, pain, chronic pain, inflammation, Alzheimer’s and many more diseases. I’ve experienced good qualities of CBD. I was suffering from the chronic pain for a very long time. One of my friends suggested me to take CBD oil which can treat my pain. I took it for a few weeks twice a day and the pain was totally gone. I felt more relaxed and calm than ever before. I am wondering that how CBD can cure this much effectively? I love CBD and I recommend it to people.
To clarify, high-CBD cannabis oil is non-psychoactive and apparently even more beneficial than high-THC cannabis oil. Cannabidiol is another cannabinoid in the cannabis plant, like the more well-known psychoactive cannabinoid THC, with significant research suggesting neuroprotectant, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-ischemic, antispasmodic, antipsychotic, and antibacterial properties, among others. Furthermore, cannabis oil is a type of extract from cannabis.
“The political implications of that scheduling, from a research perspective, are limiting,” explains Sutton. “To my knowledge, of the thousands of academic and research bodies in the United States and Canada whom would be equipped to perform agricultural or medical research on this unique species, only around 40 have actual research licenses to study the plant in a limited context.”
There is some speculation that George Washington smoked the flower of the cannabis plant in order to achieve a recreational high ("Like all farmers, Washington probably sampled the quality and potency of what he grew, and he may have used this hemp to treat his chronic tooth aches"),[58] but there is no evidence in any of his writings that he grew hemp for anything other than industrial purposes. It is sometimes supposed that an excerpt from Washington's diary, which reads "Began to seperate [sic] the Male from the Female hemp at Do.&—rather too late" is evidence that he was trying to grow female plants for the THC found in the flowers. However, the editorial remark accompanying the diary states that "This may arise from their [the male] being coarser, and the stalks larger"[119] In subsequent days, he describes soaking the hemp[120] (to make the fibers usable) and harvesting the seeds,[121] suggesting that he was growing hemp for industrial purposes, not recreational.
Hemp and humanity have been linked for over 10,000 years. Hemp was our first agricultural crop, and remained the planet's largest crop and most important industry until late last century. Most of the non-Western world never stopped growing hemp, and today hemp for commercial use is grown mostly by China, Hungary, England, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, India and throughout Asia.

One of the most popular CBD products is the CBD tincture. A tincture is a powerful liquid form of CBD that allows people to avoid smoking or ingesting cannabinoid molecules in the form of edibles. Tinctures have a somewhat harsh taste due to the manufacturing process. CBD tincture is made by steeping cannabis flowers in alcohol that’s simmered until most of it is boiled off, leaving behind a denser liquid infused with active CBD compounds.
I always quote CBD oil as a “miracle cure”. The reason being when no other regular meds helped me there was CBD oil that helped me with my chronic back pain. Been using it for the past 2 years now. I haven’t tried the Kope CBD products but after reading this I’m curious. Rest all brands are well known to me. Let’s give Kope a try. Anyways, thanks for sharing this awesome information.
Hemp can be used as a "mop crop" to clear impurities out of wastewater, such as sewage effluent, excessive phosphorus from chicken litter, or other unwanted substances or chemicals. Additionally, hemp is being used to clean contaminants at the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site, by way of a process which is known as phytoremediation—the process of clearing radioisotopes and a variety of other toxins from the soil, water, and air.[47]
One study suggested that a dose of concentrated CBD oil might cause cell death in breast cancer cells. One more study involving mice dealt with this particular cancer as well. Researchers concluded that CBD might inhibit aggressive breast cancer cells from spreading.CBD oil can be used to prevent cancer from spreading. Some scientific studies show that the CBD compound can help suppress the growth of cancer cells and promote their destruction.

Of course, there are many different treatments for both anxiety and depression. However, they have a lot of side effects. These include agitation, drowsiness, insomnia, headaches, and sexual dysfunction. In addition, certain prescription drugs can be very addictive, like BZDs. In fact, they can be more addictive than hard drugs such as crack cocaine or heroin.

Although cannabis can be used to make marijuana, CBD itself is non-psychoactive—meaning that it doesn’t get you high the way smoking or eating cannabis-related products containing THC (the plant's psychoactive compound) can. Still, there’s a lot doctors don’t know about CBD and its effects on the body, and a lot consumers should understand before trying it.
